The Concierge Consulting & Accounting, PLLC team is pleased to announce the successful completion of our independent peer review of our accounting and auditing practice. CCA received a pass rating, the highest rating available as well as the bragging rights of the cleanest engagement reviewed in years. We are so proud as a company and of our wonderful team. We are formally evaluated every three years but internally we review our quality controls every year. Peer reviews allow us to continue to improve upon our client services to serve you better.
You may be asking yourself, what is a peer review? The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) requires its member firms to undergo a peer review every three years. A peer review is a periodic external review of a firm’s systems, engagements, quality control, internal controls, and adherence to professional standards in accounting and auditing and is also known as the AICPA’s practice monitoring programs. The purpose of a peer review is to promote quality in the accounting and auditing services provided by CPA firms. Peer reviews ensure that CPA firms are preforming at a high standard which allows us to better serve the public interest
